Christmas

Molly had a lot of fun at Christmas. She got a Dora Dollhouse, a bunch of Toy Story stuff, plenty of clothes and books. She especially likes her Toy Story cowgirl boots.

After a feverish four days of gift receiving she is off to spend her first overnight visit at Grandma's house. Big night!

Froggy Christmas Eve

Molly is really enjoying singing this Christmas season!

Oh, what a wonderful time of year. Molly loves baking cookies and decorating the Christmas tree. Probably about 80% of the day, you can find her singing Christmas carols. Her favorite is Rudolph and she also likes to sing Frosty. We had a great time at Daddy's concert. Both the kids and Daddy did a fantastic job!

Thanksgiving

Molly had fun with Uncle Tyler. She played lots of games. But Pennsylvania wears her out. Friday night she started walking upstairs and said "Goodnight everyone, I'm going to bed". When we caught up to her she was laying down and said "Turn off the light please".

Things that Molly likes

• The Blue Colony Diner (Bluu Connely Diner). She likes the "girls with funny words". Or waitresses with accents.
• Monkey Business. She loves talking about Monkey Business.
• Macaroni.
• Noah and Leah.
• Yelling "Tom and Wendy's house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" everytime we enter the driveway.
• Arnold the dog "He bit my finger the last time so I have to be really careful".
• Going to bed. She loves falling asleep. We couldn't ask for a better sleeper.
• Doing puzzles.
• Making up silly songs "If Mommy can't find the toy skeleton, she can't go to Mimi's"
• Her sister. Molly loves Claudia very much.

Fever

Now Molly has a fever.... Kids are taking turns.

Tootie

Daddy: "Molly, what do you want to do when you grow up?"

Molly: "Hmmm, go to Aunt Tootie's house and play"

Daddy: "OK, that sounds like fun, but do you want to be a fireman or a teacher?"

Molly: "Hmmmm, no. When I grow up I want to go to Aunt Tootie's house. In Dannnbury. Aunt KA will come too and we will use crayons and look at clothes."

Halloween

Molly is enjoying all the festivities. We visited River Glen on Friday and they had a great party with all the residents passing out candy. Nice place to visit with the kids.

Yesterday the girls had fun at the Sanfanandre party. There were a lot of kids there. Their favorite thing was the zip line. Molly did really good on it. She's strong.

Halloween

Breakfast

Molly gets up first. She usually sleeps until around 8:00. Since Claudia sleeps forever (or around 10:00) Molly gets a trip to the diner usually every weekend. Not sure if its healthy for Mommy and Daddy, but she seems to like it.

Yesterday Molly went to practice and had a good time. We ran for a bit and looked at the leaves and had some fun. She does pretty good on these walk/runs and we went for about 45 minutes.

Potty?

Molly is trying really hard to get potty trained. We are about 60% there.

Pretty Girl

Molly is one smart cookie. She put the puzzle together all by herself. She is a real sponge.

She also got a haircut today. She did really well. We cut about 3-4 inches off and she seems to like it.

Fun Run

Molly got a ribbon for running so hard. She was nervous so I ran with her. She really did well!

Camping

All three girls are camping. Nobody has begged off yet. Lets hope for a quiet night.

Claudia's First Day

Yesterday Claudia got hurt pretty bad (fell and cut her eyebrow) and Molly was a such a good girl as we treated Claudia. A good doctor, that is for sure.

Today Molly watched Claudia get on the bus for kindergarten. She was very quiet. She will miss her buddy!

Trip

Molly has her backpack on. We don't leave for three hours.

Netherlands visit

Molly has had a busy week! She had visitors from the Netherlands; Jeroen, Judith, Nore, and Huib.

Molly went blueberry picking, to lake compounce, and to New York City. She was a trooper the whole way. She even fell asleep in the movie at the planetarium. Molly would wake up each morning looking for Nore.

Bakers

ABCs

K-Mart Smart

Molly had lots of fun this weekend seeing Aunt Susannah and Uncle Tyler. She didn't quite understand that they weren't staying over, but we promised to see them soon!

Molly also picked more berries at the Kopecs and got to see everyone. Busy girl.

She is putting puzzles together very fast. Almost time to bump her up to the 75 piece puzzles. Claudia would do the same thing, just sitting and doing puzzles for awhile.

Wake Up

Molly has been getting up at 6am (tough day) or 7:45am (good day). She works so hard to keep up and I think the days just wear her out a bit.

She climbed just about to the top of the softball backstop yesterday. She is wicked strong.

Berries

Molly had fun with Aunt KA and Aunt Tootie yesterday. She swam for a long time and picked lots of berries. Molly has been to VT in the past few weeks for vacation and has been having a great time.

She is singing (like her sister) pretty much all day. Right now she is stuck on the ABCs. She will sing with you!

Vacations

We have been enjoying Molly's conversations lately. Her head moves a little faster than you expect. Now that she can pretty much talk in sentences it opens up her dastardly mind. She is pretty funny.

Molly was such a good listener at Claudia's preschool show tonight. She sat bolt upright at the edge of her chair.

Aunt Tootie gave her a book present (of course) and Molly pulled it out of the bag when she got home and had a huge smile--A Five Monkey Book!

Monkey Business

Today Daddy got to take Molly to Monkey Business which was a big treat. Molly was a lot of fun, she listened to the teacher, and she was really nice to all of the other kids. I was real proud of her.

I'm Two

Just so you know Molly is two. She is talking better and better each day. You can almost have a conversation with her.

Some things going on with Molly:

1. She really likes her big girl friends Ally and Leah.

2. I think her diet and weight would be normal at this point. It didnt used to be that way.

3. She loves to tell stories and perform.

4. She is running better, she can gallop and almost skip. She is wicked strong.

5. She is very patient sister. She goes and watches Claudia at dance, swimming, and soccer.

6. She loves to talk on the phone. She knows her name, address, town and we are working on phone number.

7. Molly can count to ten in Spanish, English, German. We will start working on Dutch for the summer.

We've had a few weeks basically at home and its been nice since, well, we spent a whole lot in Florida. Nice to catch up with life a bit.

I'm heading to airport in a few minutes to pick everyone up. Their flight was delayed. I hope all are doing well. It has been a quiet three days since I left them in Florida. I can't wait to see Molly!

From what I hear she had a bit of a letdown this morning and couldn't get excited when the whole Kopec clan showed up to play with her. Just wanted to focus on watching Claudia's soccer game.

Almost Birthday

Molly is a big girl now. She knows where her thumb and pinky are, she can count fairly well, and she is lots of fun.

She is really, really happy that Mimi and Aunt Susannah are here.

Molly has croup. She coughed a lot last night. Yes, I slept through it.

Hopefully it goes well. She is a tough kid and really never complains.

Myself

"Myself" is Molly's mantra now. She wants to prove she can do everything. She is a tough cookie.

She had a lot of fun last weekend when we saw "Storytime Live". The show was a professional show and had all of her favorite TV characters in it.

Our Little Girl

Molly is becoming a big girl really quickly. She is starting to have conversations. She can speak in 2-3 word sentences. She knows her ABCs, recognizes her letters, and can count to ten (and kind of count in Spanish and German). She knows her shapes. She is a really fast learner. We are very lucky.

She is a piece of work. She is funny, loves everyone, and will be the mayor of something someday. She does not take herself too seriously, thats for sure.

She is very lucky to have such a nice sister. Claudia loves to do stuff with her. They are definitely best friends.

Molly loves to give Abby treats. A few weeks ago should would just give them to her. Today I gave her the treat, she turned to Abby and in a nice voice said "Abby...Sit!". Then "Abby....Down". Then she put the treat about 2 feet in front of Abby. Waited......then said "OK!!".

Talking

Molly is starting to understand a lot more and do a lot more talking. She LOVES to talk and make jokes. She can answer where she lives now "Southberrrry". She kind of knows her ABCs, and she can throw out some 3-4 word sentences every so often.

She is very lucky to have Claudia. Claudia loves nothing more than to be Molly's teacher.

Both of them came to my elementary concert last night and they were very good.
