Santa

Molly was nervous about meeting Santa. She seems to be nervous about seeing people lately. Luckily, Santa is super cool and came over to our table later.

Thanksgiving

Molly is having a good time at Mimi's.  She loves taking care of the horses.  That is her favorite.  She also likes Penny the dog.  Molly is definitely in charge of Penny.

Last night at Thanksgiving dinner Molly ate macaroni and cheese (of course), potatos, apple sauce and some other stuff (but she forgot what).

Molly really likes visiting with Aunt Susannah and playing games.  She also wants to get home soon so she can "go to Tootie's house".

Snow

Its November 7 and we are up to 5 inches of snow...

She is reading pretty independently and is very proud of books she brings home from the library.  She even searches for Star Wars books to bring Daddy.

She is swimming pretty well and loves her sister most of all.

Molly ran a mile with us yesterday. Tough kid. She's actually been growing some! About two inches since May.

Box Family Reunion

On our way to Williamsburg Va for the family reunion, we crossed over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel.  One of Mommy's favorite things!

Fun with the cousins, Kevin and Jack in the picture, was definitely one of the highlights.  Kevin teaching Molly to swim underwater the first night at the condo pool was another big event!  The girls had fun staying in the condos close to everyone else too.  Water Country, Busch Gardens, late night swimming and great get-togethers, can't wait to do it again soon!

Molly has been reading like crazy. I like that she reads in bed. Out loud. She has a distinctive reading voice.

Vermont

Vermont was fun.  Molly wore herself out each and every day keeping up with the big kids.  She loved going to the Morgan Horse Farm, playing in the lake, and eating doughnuts for breakfast.

Sleep

Molly has in general been a great sleeper since she was a baby.  Once she is asleep she is set for the night.  Lately she has a bit of trouble going to sleep and has been getting up a few times and extending bed time for awhile.  She is trying...

Preschool is almost done.  On to 4 year old class next year.  She is really starting to read and we think she is ready for piano lessons.  She has been growing a bit more rapidly and is more "average" than "peanut".  She is super, super strong.

Sick day

Molly had a tough night and morning but recovered at the pool.

April Vacation

Fun times on our trip to NC - first day spent playing at all the great playgrounds and giant dirt piles!!  Loved the sunny weather. Also spent the rainy day at the children's museum.  Lots of fun things to explore and play with :)

Molly is having a great Valentine's Day.

Yesterday Molly took her Barbie jeep out, turned on the radio full blast and was playing opera as she drove it around the yard with a big smile on her face.  She's a piece of work.

She's starting to write and read a bit.  She definitely likes to be Bossy Buster during the day as she asserts her independence.

Dance

Molly's adventures at the Stepping Stones Museum.  She was very excited to try the rock climbing wall after seeing all of Claudia's pictures from Prime Climb. She also enjoyed the surfing/snowboarding simulator. Had a nice afternoon walk with Pidge and Rick too! Really enjoying these warm winter days.

I was typing that last quote from Molly and Daddy (she is on my lap) and she stopped me and said "Daddy--add with Aunt Judy".  She continues to surprise me.  I think she is reading, but won't admit it.
