Update
- Molly finished her first soccer season.
- Mimi comes for a visit today and everyone is excited.
- Molly is starting to read a bit. She gets better and better.
- She's still pretty tiny.

Snow
It snowed about 12-15 inches on October 29. We still don't have power and could be out for a week or more. House down to 49 degrees today. And its Halloween!
Claudia and Molly spent the night at their cousins. We love watching them play Dance, Dance Revolution.

The Beach
Molly had fun visiting Aunt Joan and Uncle Mark at their place in Long Beach, NY. Its right on the beach. Molly had lots of fun in their playground.

Molly Paints
Molly went to paint pottery and had big fun. She painted a penguin, a dog, and a tile. We pick them up next week.

Preschool
Molly is a little nervous about preschool. She will love it because she finally gets to meet her own friends, but after being Claudia's shadow it can be challenging. I also always ask her to "listen to the teacher" which she does very, very well.
Today something came up about soon it will be fall and we will be back at work and preschool.
Molly: I don't want to go to preschool.
Me: Why? Preschool will be fun.
Molly: I don't want to listen to the teacher. I want to follow my own plan.

Ryder is here
Ryder is a boy about a year old and he is over for the morning. Molly is so excited to teach him everything. She is showing him how to do everything. Its nice to have a somebody younger than you for awhile.

Silver Lake
Molly climbed up the whole mountain which was about 1.5 miles up. She was rewarded with a swim in the Silver Lake at the top. The lake is pretty amazing. The water is clear as can be.
We also went to Texas Falls which are very impressive.

Backward Roll
Molly loves to backward rolls. Watching her on the swing set is fun. She is doing one leg swings. I think she's going to be a pole vaulter.
She is doing real well with the soccer ball. We went to a party and there was a soccer ball. They were playing keep away and the other kids couldn't take it from her.

Mimi!
Molly has had super fun with Mimi visiting this week. Every day when Claudia goes to school Molly gets to have special time. She keeps Mimi moving,thats for sure.
On Thursday we all went to visit where Mimi grew up and then we took the train into NYC for dinner at Grand Central Station. Riding the train was so much fun. The conductor let Molly blow the horn!

We sent in Molly's deposit for preschool today. The journey begins.

Molly Update
Molly update:
- Molly went on vacation to North Carolina and Pennsylvania. She did very good in the car.
- She came home with a stomach bug (so did her sister). Threw up all over Aunt Tootie's bathroom. She was a trooper. So far Mommy and Daddy are clear....
- She has every Toy Story item. Stop looking.
- She is out of her crib and in her toddler bed. Of course, its a Toy Story bed.

Molly is Three
Molly had a great birthday party. Lots of friends and a great time. Mimi and Aunt Susannah made the trip and Miss Kerry came from Boston and Miss Elizabeth from Stamford.

Update
- Molly worked for about an hour yesterday piling mulch into her wheelbarrow and dumping it. She worked very hard!
- She got a nice haircut. She is a very good girl at the salon.
- She carries her "Toy Story Guys" every where.
- She still goes to sleep like an angel. "Goodnight Molly, I Love You". Close the door and thats it.
- She's tiny. But real, real strong.

Toy Story
Molly goes everywhere with Buzz and Woody in her hand. Plays with them all day. Buzz flies around saving Woody.
Occasionally she will put them down and a few minutes later go "my Toy Story guys!!" and rush around the house looking for them.

Blue Colony Diner
Molly loves the Blue Colony Diner. We go out to eat a fair amount. If we ask her where she wants to go "Blue Connely Diner" and she pretty much sticks to it.
She had the chicken fingers last time and liked them. She likes that all the ladies "talk funny".

Smart girl
We have water damage in our kitchen because of the snow (we still have 18 inches of snow on our lawn) and water was pouring in at one point. I drilled four holes in the ceiling back then to let them drain.
Today Molly comes up:
"Daddy lets get tape and tape pennies to the ceiling and cover the holes so water doesnt come in"
She needed to repeat that a few times. I was flabbergasted she came up with that idea.

WInter!
We have had the most snow ever and Molly has been inside a lot. She has been very patient. She loves playing in the snow. She sits on top of the snow and eats it. She loves that.
She has been going to the gym and swimming a lot with Mommy and Claudia. She also play racquetball. She is getting better. She loves chasing after the ball. Great activity for her.
She is still into Toy Story.

Molly wasn't so sure about the snow at first, but now she LOVES it. It's a good thing with all the snow we have had. I think Molly's favorite thing is to EAT the snow. She also loves to throw snowballs and go sledding. She really loves to pull Claudia on the sled too. Such a good sister :)
She enjoyed snowmobiling with her uncle Marc as well.
